Queenscliff gave itself a shot at finishing with a double chance come finals, defeating Torquay 14.8(92) to 12.12(84).
The Coutas need to defeat Anglesea this weekend and hope Barwon Heads beats Drysdale to finish third.

Torquay’s superior percentage means it will finish second even if it loses its final game.

Jack Hargreaves kicked seven for the Hawks, who need to knock off Barwon Heads to finish third and play a qualifying final against Torquay. The Heads prevailed by 43 points back in round 10.
