Legendary Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association all-round Paul McGrath smacked an unbeaten 134 for Portarlington in B2 Grade on the weekend.
McGrath and brother Adam (41) put together 141 for the fourth wicket as Port won easily.
Queenscliff veteran Tony Hanafin made 97 not out in B1 Grade in his team’s win against Drysdale.
Inverleigh opener Simon Craggs hit an unbeaten 106 from 114 balls as his B2 Grade side romped to a big win against Jan Juc while Winchelsea’s Jamie Doyle bludgeoned a whirlwind 121 not out in the same grade.
Odeon Grove’s Jaydip Patel hit a superb 104 against St Leonards in C Grade and Portarlington’s Sam Beeston played well for 83.
Barwon Heads’ Angus Ford, 13, made his second successive half-century with 57 not out to guide his team to a win.
Michael Beshara took five wickets for Queenscliff, although it wasn’t quite enough to get the Coutas home against Wallington.
In D Grade, Anglesea veteran Mark Stoneham made yet another ton with 104 not out. In the same game, Ocean Grove’s Jonathon Gill made 89 not out as the Grubbers prevailed. Gill previously coached Barwon Heads. Barrabool’s Ryan Birthisel took 5-14.
Fox Sports presenter Mark Howard made 70 for Barwon Heads in a 21-run win against Queenscliff.
