THE USA’s foremost harmonica virtuoso Phil Wiggins with Dom Turner, at the Piping Hot Chicken Shop on 26 May. Turner is well-known for his almost 30 years of work with one of Australia’s leading blues acts, Backsliders. Wiggins is also a gifted songwriter and teacher and has managed and presented workshops across the US and internationally.

Be with birds
BIRDLIFE Bellarine is a small group of bird enthusiasts dedicated to bird observing. Outings are conducted on the first Wednesday and third Sunday of each month. The Wednesday outing takes up the morning and is usually conducted around the Geelong area. Sunday outings are a full-day event and are conducted further afield.

A PRODUCE-ONLY market, the main aim of the Bellarine Community Farmers’ Market is to bring together local farmers, growers and producers from the smallest backyard to the biggest business to provide fresh food and produce, direct to the public, in one convenient location. It’s a wonderful free event that’s next on Saturday 21 May, from 9am to 1pm.
