ROMEO and Juliet is one of William Shakespeare’s most widely known plays. Along with Hamlet, it is certainly one of the most performed.
It was his one of his earliest works.
Join Melbourne City Ballet as they bring the classical ballet version of William Shakespeare’s arguably most popular work, Romeo and Juliet, to life.
Choreographed by artistic director Michael Pappalardo, William Shakespeare’s classic story explores the chance meeting of two young lovers, the son and daughter of two rival families, who quickly develop a forbidden love that could cost them their lives.
Featuring principal artists Yuiko Masukawa and Brendan Bradshaw, Romeo and Juliet is Melbourne City Ballet’s most raw production and an event not to be missed.
The show is on at the Potato Shed in Drysdale, on 8 July at 7.30pm. Tickets available at the Customer Service Centres or by credit card over the phone.
Cost is $36 for adults, $32 for concession and $20 for students under 18.
